Indicators on the blocking and dropping rates of telephone calls on mobile networks
The blocking rate of telephone calls corresponds to the percentage of failed attempts to make telephone calls during the busiest hour because of the unavailability of a channel to make the call.
The dropping rate of telephone calls on a mobile network corresponds to the percentage of ongoing telephone calls interrupted before the normal ending of the communication by users because of the operator’s network (e.g. handover failure).
